WADL publishes a number of procedural guides to assist with the smooth operation of the Schools' competition. These policies range from the behaviour expected of WADL adjudicators and audience members during debates to the training format employed for instructing new adjudicators.

While these procedures and policies have been developed by the WADL committee to assist with the running of the competition, they are not competition rules, and are subject to change at the discretion of the WADL committee at any time.
